Morocco’s Boumadine Mining Project Estimates US$463 Million in Initial Capital Expenditure

On 22 October, reporting on Canadian miner Aya Gold & Silver’s Boumadine project described a proposed gold, silver, zinc and lead development with estimated initial capital expenditure of US$463 million. The preliminary assessment envisages a processing plant handling approximately 2.9 million tonnes of material annually and a potential 14-year operating life. These are project estimates, not awarded construction contracts or confirmed spending; mining companies and suppliers can explore process modelling, predictive maintenance and supply-chain analytics, while HPC can support industrial simulations.
