UNDP Announces $4.97 Million Climate-Resilience Grant for Rwandan Farmers

On 29 October 2026, UNDP announced an Adaptation Fund grant of approximately $4.97 million for a four-year climate-resilience programme supporting 10,000 farmers in Kayonza, Gatsibo and Nyagatare, with a further 25,000 people expected to benefit indirectly. The project will improve access to climate information, early warnings and climate-smart agricultural advice. Agricultural organisations and sustainability programmes can explore climate-risk modelling, environmental monitoring and data analytics; HPC can support large-scale climate-data processing and forecasting workloads, with quotations available for confirmed requirements.
