Switzerland Approves CHF 40 Million Humanitarian Assistance

On 4 November, the Swiss Federal Council approved CHF 40 million in additional humanitarian funding, including CHF 29 million for Yemen and CHF 11 million for Ethiopia. Parliament is also being asked to approve a further CHF 20 million supplementary credit. The decision creates opportunities for humanitarian programme management, development research and public-sector evaluation.
